In the western region, the Icam project is supported by three campuses: Icam Nantes campus, Icam Brittany campus (Vannes) and Icam Vendée campus (at La Roche-sur-Yon) united in “Icam Ouest”. Icam Nantes campus is one of the main engineering schools in our region with 100 graduates per year. The site welcomes 500 students each year.
All students can get involved in the associative life of the Icam.
In addition to bringing students together around a common passion, associations are also a vehicle for personal and professional development. Indeed, organization, communication and teamwork are qualities developed at the heart of associations.
Among the associations at the Nantes site, here are some of them:
BDE: Student Office. He manages associations and animates student life at Icam by organizing sporting, cultural and festive events. He is also there to bring new ideas, new projects to improve life within the ICAM.
BDS: The BDS represents the sports associations of the school and takes care of FNSU activities. Each week slots are offered for the following sports: Badminton, Rugby, Futsal, Handball, Foot, Volleyball, Basketball and Tennis.
Fol’Icam: This obstacle course takes place in the spring on the Motocross Field of La Chapelle-sur-Erdre. Participants have access to 2 types of races: a “competition” with a time of 4.3 kilometers and a “relaxation” of 1.8 kilometers. A fun and sporty day!
BSpi – The Spiritual Office which” takes care of pastoral animation and is open to all students and collaborators. The chaplaincy offers moments of sharing, exchanges, masses. There are 2 per week: spiritual time on Thursday evening from 7:30 p.m., mass on Friday noon at the Chapel of the Maison des Icam.
Impact Icam is the school’s Junior Enterprise. This association operates like a business, on the model of a consulting firm. It allows students to put their theoretical teachings into practice by carrying out projects for professionals.
Humanitarian associations : The associations of Nantes campus are very dynamic and cooperate with humanitarian associations in the countries in which they operate:Antipode in India, Pamoja in Tanzania, Toimaya in Comoros. Students collect money throughout the year by carrying out a number of activities to finance a project such as renovating an orphanage or shipping school supplies to schools.
The residence is also equipped with a private car park and a closed bicycle room.
Careful supervision: the staff, consisting of a director, a student life coach present every evening, an accounting secretary and maintenance agents, beyond their respective missions, remain attentive to students.
Life in the very friendly residence encourages mutual assistance in studies and helps to find the right balance between collective and personal life. The management of activities related to student life is entrusted to the responsibility of students who have a large degree of autonomy within.
On campus, a catering service is available to students every lunchtime from Monday to Friday.
“Icam” stop on bus line 95, a few minutes from the Tramway (Haluchère stop).
