EAIE Toulouse 2024: an inspiring international week for Icam

Icam was present at the annual conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE), held in Toulouse from September 17 to 20, 2024. An opportunity for the school to strengthen its international collaborations and welcome its many partners from around the world.
Europe’s largest meeting place for international higher education! Returning to France after a 15-year absence, the EAIE 34th edition brought together over 7,300 higher education professionals from 90 countries.
Nearly 1,000 representatives from French higher education establishments attended to meet their partners and counterparts from all over the world. Nora Lemouzy, International Partnerships Manager at the Icam Toulouse site, comments : “The EAIE in Toulouse was an incredible and exciting conference that connected the world of higher education. We were able to meet up with long-standing partners, forge new friendships, share best practices and look to the future with inspiration”.
Stronger links with Icam’s partners
To mark the occasion, Icam enjoyed a week dedicated to international collaboration and interculturality. A delegation from 16 Philippine universities was welcomed to the Toulouse campus by Gilles Vandecaveye, General Manager of Icam, and Nora Lemouzy, in the presence of Sylvain Lamourette, Cooperation Attaché at the French Embassy in the Philippines.
Icam also hosted a gala evening for its Jesuit partners from France, Spain, Belgium, Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina, Australia, India and the Philippines. Gilles Vandecaveye confides : “It was an honor and a great joy to welcome our Jesuit friends from all over the world. I would like to thank them for their energy and presence. This vibrant exchange of ideas and visions further strengthens our bonds and our common mission. Together, we are building an inspired and committed future at the crossroads of cultures and values, a future rich in cooperation for a better humanity and a better world”.
