We supply industrial and municipal markets with coagulants and other chemicals for wastewater treatment or drinking water purification. We also produce industrial chemicals used by a wide range of industries such as pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, steelmaking, and fertilizers. Our other chemical products include bleach, sodium hydroxide, various grades of hydrochloric acid to meet the demands of many markets, and calcium chloride for food and industrial applications.
Kuhlmann France has four production sites, located in Loos (France), Tessenderlo and Ham (Belgium), and Rekingen (Switzerland). The production sites are located as close as possible to our main customers.
In Loos (Kuhlmann France), we have a state-of-the-art membrane electrolysis unit inaugurated in 2018. Thanks to the intermediate products received from this unit, we are able to manufacture a wide range of products. Our main products are ferric chloride, a coagulant used in industrial and municipal markets for wastewater treatment or drinking water purification, caustic soda and sodium hypochlorite, which are used for disinfection and detergents, as well as hydrochloric acid.
