In today’s working environment, quality of working life has become a major issue for companies concerned with the well-being of their employees. With this in mind, the Icam Strasbourg-Europe site has launched an innovative initiative to explore how its employees perceive quality of life at work.
Putting employees at the heart of the process
Aurélie Bouvet, the school’s Human Resources Manager, has set up a one-day workshop enabling employees to become not only witnesses, but also players in the continuous improvement of quality of life at work. The aim is to highlight the various aspects of quality of life at work as perceived on a daily basis by those who live it.
A dynamic of change and innovation
The initiative is part of a wider change management approach, aimed at introducing new practices and a renewed vision in team management. This fresh perspective on day-to-day work enables us to identify avenues for improvement and promote a more fulfilling professional environment.
A pioneer in Strasbourg: a commitment to innovation
The Icam Strasbourg-Europe site stands out as the first establishment in the Icam collective to set up such a workshop. If successful, this initiative will be extended to other Icam sites. It also complements other programs, such as the “Manager Survey”, aimed at gathering constructive feedback on managers.
A day structured around quality of life at work
The Quality of Life at Work Day has become a key event in Icam’s HR strategy and training plan. It takes place in two stages: an explanatory plenary session, followed by a convivial lunch, and practical workshops.
Compulsory commitment for all: towards concrete improvements
Participation in this day is compulsory for all employees of the Strasbourg school. The ultimate aim is to improve employees’ daily lives by finding compromises in line with the school’s values. The results of the workshops will be used to draw up a concrete action plan.
In conclusion, Icam Strasbourg-Europe’s Quality of Working Life initiative represents an innovative and participative approach. By placing employees at the heart of the continuous improvement process, the school is committed to creating a more fulfilling professional environment and promoting the well-being of its staff.
