Welcome to France for the Summer Program 2025!

The Summer Program is a rich and original initiative offered by Icam in France in collaboration with partner institutions. Designed for third-year students, the program blends academic rigor, creativity, intercultural exchange, and introductory French language learning.
Since 2011, over 400 international students have taken part in this one-month immersion across our French campuses.
In Nantes, Toulouse, and Grand Paris Sud: Learning and Discovery for LICET Students
The Summer Program kicked off on June 10th in partnership with Loyola Icam College of Engineering and Technology (LICET), welcoming 58 students and one faculty member:
• 15 students at Grand Paris Sud
• 28 students at the Toulouse campus
• 15 students at the Nantes campus
A full four-week program has been carefully planned for them, particularly thanks to Hoda Elemy, who coordinated the academic content in collaboration with colleagues from the three campuses, and Catherine Maury, Icam International Programs Coordinator, who oversaw the French language courses (FLE) and cultural visits. The program includes:
• A technical project involving the design and construction of a prototype: wind turbine in Nantes, 3D-printed hovercraft in Paris, and smart sorting system in Toulouse
• Visits to French companies
• Cultural excursions to places such as the Guérande Peninsula, Mont-Saint-Michel, Nantes, Toulouse, Lourdes, Carcassonne, and Paris (including the Louvre and Eiffel Tower)
• A homestay experience with a French family
• And of course, many opportunities for sharing and connection!

For the International Bachelor students who will be spending a year in Chennai, it’s also a great opportunity to meet their Indian peers and start immersing themselves in Indian culture!
Lean Management Program in Strasbourg-Europe for Ateneo JGSOM Students
Over in Strasbourg-Europe, 18 students and 2 faculty members from Ateneo JGSOM arrived on June 16th. They were warmly welcomed by the local Icam teams, students from Ucac-Icam, and Icam Grand Paris Sud.
The goal of the Ateneo BS REnt x Ateneo IPO x Icam Strasbourg-Europe program: to explore how Lean Management principles can be applied in real-world contexts.
Until July 4th, students will deepen their understanding through courses and interactive workshops (such as the Puzzle Game and the Champions Game), visit French companies, and enjoy cultural outings—including trips to Colmar and Strasbourg (and its local market), a visit to the European Parliament, celebrating the French “Fête de la Musique,” and wine tastings. A perfect setting for meaningful encounters and enriching experiences!
