Toulouse campus awarded “Bienvenue en France” label

On January 8, the Icam Toulouse campus was awarded the prestigious “Bienvenue en France” label, recognizing the quality of its welcome for international students and further enhancing its global visibility.
The Icam Toulouse campus is proud to join the 159 French institutions certified “Bienvenue en France” to date ! It is the only institution to have received the label following the most recent certification commission held on November 20, 2024.
This label, granted by Campus France through an independent commission, distinguishes institutions committed to improving and promoting their services for international students. It is awarded for a period of five years.
The “Bienvenue en France” label is a mark of confidence in the tangible actions implemented by Icam for international students on its campus, particularly in areas such as :
– Quality and accessibility of information ;
– Quality and accessibility of student services ;
– Accessibility and support for academic program ;
– Housing and campus life quality ;
– Post-graduation support and career services ;
– Commitment to sustainable development and social and environmental responsibility.
High-Quality welcome and wupport
For this first recognition, the Toulouse campus achieved an excellent Level 2 certification (out of 3 levels), meeting 26 out of 28 indicators. It joins the Icam Strasbourg-Europe campus, which also holds a Level 2 “Bienvenue en France” certification.
Among the campus’s main strengths highlighted by the commission :
- a multilingual website in French and English, with a section dedicated to international students ;
- a downloadable guide in French and English covering campus life, associations, and housing ;
- multilingual reception services with two full-time staff members dedicated to facilitating international students’ integration ;
- personalized support from the International Office for administrative procedures and housing ;
- an International Academy offering French as a Foreign Language (FLE) courses and insights into French education ;
- free intensive FLE courses, worth 4 ECTS per semester, preparing students for DELF or DALF exams ;
- career support, including courses, mandatory internships, and conferences through partnerships with local companies ;
- active student involvement in defining the school’s strategy, especially regarding sustainable development.

Receiving the “Bienvenue en France” label highlights the dedication and efforts of the Icam Toulouse campus team, as well as its students, in ensuring the well-being of international students from their arrival throughout their stay in France. The team is committed to providing a rich scientific and human adventure for all.
This label guarantees increased visibility for the Toulouse campus among international students, with promotion through Campus France’s websites, tools, and communication materials, as well as the global network of diplomatic missions and Campus France offices abroad. The campus is now featured on the Études en France platform and in catalogs such as License and Master Programs Taught in English, CampusArt, Distance Learning Programs, Summer Schools, and other short programs.
