Briand and Icam Sign a Sponsorship Agreement in Western France

A long-time partner of Icam, Briand has entered into a 3-year sponsorship agreement with Icam’s Féron-Vrau fund through its Briand Impact Foundation.

The official signing took place on May 7 at the Icam Production School in La Roche-sur-Yon, in the presence of Gil Briand, President of the Briand Group and Icam alumnus; Claudy Bellion, Executive Director of Icam West; Rémi Chevret, Deputy Director of Projects & Sponsorship at Icam; and Stéphane Moreau, Group Director of Industrial Operations at Briand.

This event highlights Icam’s strong connection with key economic players in the region.

The sponsorship agreement includes financial support to promote careers in industry and assist young people in production schools. It also involves commitments to offer internships and work-study placements. This initiative reflects Briand’s ongoing commitment to Icam, reaffirmed during the Icam Business Forum.

“We were, of course, eager to respond to Icam’s request to support the production schools in Nantes and Vendée. We are very proud to contribute to helping these 40 young people—many of whom were previously at risk of dropping out—learn a trade and start their professional journey. We thank Icam for its dedication to young people and to the local industrial sector,” said Gil Briand.
