Therminic 2024 : interview with Jean-Pierre Fradin, Research Manager at Icam

On the occasion of the 30th Therminic symposium, back in France and for the first time in Toulouse, co-organizer Jean-Pierre Fradin, Research Manager at Icam, answered questions from VIPress.net, the daily news magazine for the electronics and digital industries.

Over a hundred international researchers gathered from September 25 to 27, 2024 for the 30th Therminic. Toulouse played host for the first time to this event co-organized by Icam and LAAS-CNRS.

In an interview with VIPress, Jean-Pierre Fradin, Research Manager in “Energy production, storage and management” at Icam, looks back at the stakes involved in this event, which is eagerly awaited by the world’s leading players in the field of electronic thermics, and is of major importance to Icam.
“The Therminic symposium is Europe’s leading event for academics and industry to share recent advances in thermal challenges and solutions for electronics, microelectronics, semiconductors and more. He goes on to explain that it is “an opportunity for all regional players to demonstrate their capabilities and know-how in the field of electronics-related thermal engineering”. New international partnerships should also emerge from this event. In this interview, Jean-Pierre Fradin also explains the future challenges facing electronic thermics.
