The 11th edition of the Ucac-Icam Business Forum, held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, on the Douala campus, was a resounding success. This event is one of the pillars of the strong relationship between the Ucac-Icam Institute and its business partners.
It also reflects the Institute’s ongoing commitment: to support each student toward successful professional integration and to enrich our programs with real-world market expectations.

Exceptional student participation

More than 500 students attended the campus to meet with companies and refine their career plans. From the first to the last booth, students as well as numerous graduates actively sought new opportunities (internships, work-study programs, employment).

This direct dialogue with professionals enabled our engineering students to:

  • Gain concrete insights into the expectations and realities of different business sectors;
  • Develop their interpersonal skills;
  • Compare their ambitions with real-world challenges.

This direct contact with professionals is a major asset for their career guidance and professional integration.

A unique opportunity for thirty partner companies

This edition brought together nearly 30 major companies from various sectors: banking, construction, energy, agro-industry, cement manufacturing, telecommunications, transport and logistics, manufacturing, and services.

The Ucac-Icam Forum indeed represents a unique opportunity for them to:

  • Identify the best engineering talent;
  • Strengthen their collaboration with the Institute;
  • Share current field challenges with future graduates who will build tomorrow’s engineering.

More than 100 HR and operational representatives were also present to showcase their professions and opportunities for internships, work-study programs, and employment.

This mobilization illustrates the strategic role of the Ucac-Icam Institute as a key partner in the Central African economic landscape.

A career guidance space, fostering connections

The 2025 edition established itself as a true crossroads for professional exchanges and discoveries, featuring:

  • Meetings with industry experts,
  • Testimonials from engineers and operational professionals,
  • Exploratory interviews,
  • Pathways to internships, work-study programs, and first jobs.

At the Ucac-Icam Institute, we believe that training skilled engineers necessarily involves active immersion in the professional ecosystem.

We warmly thank our partner companies for their trust. See you at the 12th edition in 2026, with the ambition of further increasing exchanges and professional integration opportunities for tomorrow’s engineers!
