4 Jun 2025

The Common Good Economy Awards ceremony (formerly known as the Philibert Vrau Prize), organized annually since 2014 by the Christian Entrepreneurs and Leaders (EDC), once again celebrated a different way of doing business: more human, more responsible, and more fraternal. The event took place on May 22, in partnership with Icam.

A deep connection and a shared vision

This partnership between Icam and EDC is rooted in a shared history, embodied by Philibert Vrau—namesake of one of the awards and co-founder of Icam. His legacy continues to inspire our respective commitments to building a more humane and just world.

A shared vision unites us: for EDC, “to lead and undertake in service of the common good,” and for Icam, “to support women and men in their education so they may serve the common good.”
This meaningful partnership perfectly illustrates our mission: to train responsible engineers—entrepreneurs of their own lives—committed to a more just world.

Icam and the Feron-Vrau Foundation: Committed participants in the ceremony

This partnership was also made tangible during the ceremony, which was attended by Séverine Catry, Director of Studies at Icam’s Grand Paris Sud campus, and Benoît Cousin, a board member of Icam’s Feron-Vrau Foundation.
The trophies awarded to the winners were crafted by students at Icam’s Production School in Toulouse.

Séverine Catry also presented the Young Leader Award to Christophe Aubé, President and Founder of Agreenculture in Toulouse, a company revolutionizing agriculture through robotics—highlighting an innovative business serving sustainable farming.

– The Philibert Vrau Prize for the Common Good Economy was awarded to Arnaud Guirouvet, a serial entrepreneur who places people at the heart of performance.
– The Solidarity Award went to Armelle Chapalain, founder of the first higher education institution for individuals with autism.
– The Audience Choice Award was presented to Alex Moube, an inspiring young entrepreneur who developed a disruptive eco-friendly binder for cement.
