Join us for the Staff Training Week, organized by the Kircher Network Group of Meaningful Learning, focusing on meaningful learning and intercultural teaching in diverse linguistic environments.

In today’s complex geopolitical landscape, effective communication and intercultural understanding are more critical than ever. This event aims to explore how educators, researchers, and international relations staff can foster constructive dialogue, safe learning environments, and inclusive debates—even when language and cultural differences pose challenges.

Key Questions We’ll Address:

• How can we communicate clearly and debate effectively when shared language alone isn’t enough for mutual understanding?
• How do we create a safe space where everyone feels empowered to express their views without fear of marginalization?
• How can we ensure debates remain peaceful and purpose-driven, focused on collective progress rather than winning arguments?

This training is designed for teachers, researchers, and IR professionals navigating these challenges in their daily work.

Day 1 | June 3 – Teaching with a Purpose in a Multicultural Environment

9:30 AM – 6:00 PM Explore best practices for meaningful teaching in multicultural settings. Workshops and discussions on innovative pedagogical methods.

Day 2 | June 4 – Communicating Through Different Language Environments: Signs at Stake!

9:30 AM – 7:00 PM Examine linguistic and cultural barriers and strategies to overcome them. Role-playing, case studies, and experience-sharing sessions.

Day 3 | June 5 – Evaluation at Stake: Balancing Academic and Purpose-Oriented Objectives

9:30 AM – 1:00 PM Discuss how to assess learning while integrating intercultural and meaningful dimensions. Debates and collaborative problem-solving.
