Icam ranked 6th private French engineering school in the 2024 “L’Etudiant” rankings

The school is also a the 1st place for “proximity to companies”.

This year, “L’Étudiant” evaluated 170 establishments, including over thirty private schools, which account for 30% of French engineering students. All are accredited by the french accreditation structure (CTI).

In the overall ranking (public and private included), Icam came 42nd, moving into the “A+” category, which places it on a par with the most renowned schools, such as Polytechnique. This category is the highest ranking in the “l’Etudiant” ranking.

The strategic points of this ranking

“L’Etudiant” 2024 ranking takes greater account of the environmental dimension. Bonus points are awarded to schools with the SD&SR label as of January 1, 2024, as well as to those with their own master plan for ecological and social transition issues. This is the case for Icam (obtaining the SD&SR label is also a short-term objective).

In terms of proximity to companies, where Icam achieves a perfect score, the ranking includes all research chairs, all companies taking part in the Icam Entreprises Forum, and lastly the apprenticeship rate: with 47.35% of students on apprenticeships, we score very well.

Last but not least, in the international arena, we gained points in the rankings thanks to a significant increase in the percentage of international students (+5.44%). An increase in the number of international graduates (+4.32%) also enables us to assert ourselves in the “professional integration” category.
