Forum Ucac-Icam Entreprises in Douala : a resounding success for the 10th edition !

On November 14 and 15, 2024, the Ucac-Icam Institute organized its Forum Entreprises on the Douala campus, an event that has become a must for students and companies alike !
This 10th edition opened on November 14 with a conference featuring corporate HR professionals. They shared their expertise and experience with the students, and discussed topics such as self-confidence, adaptability and the development of soft skills. The speakers also gave students valuable advice on how to successfully enter the workforce.
Job dating to promote meetings and recruitment
This was followed on November 15 by a job dating event, which enabled students and companies to meet and exchange ideas. This year, some thirty companies took part in the Forum Entreprises on the Douala campus.
The day was an opportunity for companies to present and for future 
graduates to put their questions to recruiters and, in some cases, to be interviewed.
Feedback has been very positive from students and companies alike.
“It was an opportunity to discover other professions and open up to new perspectives,” explains Melvine Mebale, a general engineering student in her 3rd year. The students particularly appreciated the quality of the discussions, the practical advice given and the opportunity to meet well-known companies.
For Boissons du Cameroun, the Forum was an opportunity “to introduce future graduates to the Boissons brand and to present career opportunities within the company, so that when they graduate, they will dream of joining Boisson du Cameroun”.
