Nextron Micro Probe System

The Nextron Micro Probe System is a micro-probe station designed to establish precise electrical contacts on microdevices, sensors, or integrated structures without requiring prior packaging. In our configuration, it enables devices to be connected to RF or DC measurement instruments, particularly for the characterization of SAW sensors and the analysis of their electrical response. The system includes visual control through a camera/microscope, allowing accurate alignment of the probes on very small electrodes or contact pads. Combined with a test chamber or measurement cell, it can also be used to perform measurements under controlled atmosphere, including temperature, humidity, or targeted gas exposure. It is therefore an essential tool for evaluating sensor performance, stability, and sensitivity before final integration into an electronic system.
