L’Étudiant has published an article on its website entitled “La classe préparatoire internationale: une ouverture sur le monde dès l’entrée en école d’ingénieurs“, in which Chloé, in her first year at Icam, Strasbourg-Europe site, shares her experience.

This article reminds us that “openness to the world has become an essential part of the training of engineering students”. Some post-baccalaureate engineering schools, such as Icam, offer “a preparatory cycle dedicated to international studies for those who want to experience multiculturalism”.
The article explains that the course is aimed at “scientific and technical profiles with a desire to open up to the world”. It enables these students to “acquire a high level of fluency in a foreign language”, which is “an asset for their future professional integration”. Interviewed by journalist Clément Rocher, Chloé talks about her decision to join Icam’s international preparatory program at the Strasbourg-Europe site: “I wanted to get closer to Germany, improve my language skills, and do maths and physics”. She concludes the article by pointing out that “someone who speaks English and German can make all the difference…”.

The Icam International Preparatory School is a 2-year preparatory program that offers :

– Scientific excellence as a continuation of high school

– Scientific courses at a university abroad

– A secure pathway to the engineering cycle
