Since November 2023, the Icam Lille site has welcomed a new director : Johann Léost. Previously head of the corporate services division, he takes over from Bruno Soullard as head of the Lille site.

An engineer who graduated from the Icam Nantes engineering school in 1994, Johann Léost has worked for over 25 years in the industrial sector in the Hauts-de-France region, and in various fields such as automotive, metallurgy and agriculture (Bosch, Plastic Omnium, Vallourec, Tereos). He has also acquired 15 years of international experience, including 3 years as an expatriate in Brazil for the Vallourec group.
A former volunteer with the Délégation Catholique pour la Coopération, Johann Léost has also carried out missions to build schools and dispensaries in several countries.

After a long career in France and abroad, he chose to join Icam, motivated by his desire to train tomorrow’s engineers and pass on his experience.
“I’m proud to be back at Icam after having gained professional and humanitarian experience in France and abroad, he confides. At the Lille site, I’d like to help train the engineers of tomorrow, who are facing major challenges in terms of social, environmental and industrial transformation.”

Initially in charge of the corporate services division, Johann Léost is now Director of the Lille site, which is home to over 1,300 engineering students and employs around 110 staff and 50 part-timers.
His mission: to strengthen Icam’s position as a partner to business and industry, professionalize our engineering students, develop applied research and vocational training, reinforce our international presence and integral ecology, and develop social diversity.
