or its 2024 edition, held in Paris on March 28, the Icam Entreprises Forum welcomed 44 new participants, including Saint Louis Sucre.
Every year, more and more companies take part in the Forum Entreprises. A total of 125 exhibitors came to meet students, with the aim of promoting their companies, presenting their opportunities and recruiting !
“We’re having trouble finding profiles that match our needs, and we have the feeling that young people are keen to be seduced back by industrial professions,” explains Marie Fauvarque, Supply Chain Manager at Saint Louis Sucre, an Icam engineer (2009). Hence her decision to attend the Forum Entreprises Icam for the first time this year.

“With my colleague Nicolas Champion, maintenance manager, we were looking in particular for two apprentices, a maintenance engineer apprentice and a packaging engineer apprentice, and we saw some very interesting profiles. We’re very satisfied because we not only met engineers with potential, but also students motivated to work in the industry, and curious to discover our sugar and packaging professions !”
This first experience was 100% successful for Marie Fauvarque. “The Forum is very well organized, with a good atmosphere and everyone is very friendly. The students are there to welcome us and guide us. I really rediscovered the Icam values and family spirit. We were also impressed by the number of companies present.
Come back to the Forum Entreprises? Without any hesitation, it’s a big yes! It’s going to be a permanent fixture in Saint Louis Sucre’s calendar, like a ritual. The aim is to go even further and create links with the school.
