Since February 2022, Icam has been part of an Erasmus+ cooperation project called i-WOBAL.
I-WOBAL aims to build an international WBL model through a didactic guide and online training for center attendants and company tutors. It will allow the development of an innovative and more effective teaching-learning process that will come back to improving the employability of learners and adjust it to business needs, training learners specifically to market demand.
The project focuses on 5 target groups :
• Undergraduate students
• Masters students
• Adult education
• People with Disabilities
• NEET (no studies, employment or training).
The international dimension of the project will help all partners to co-create and co-design models and guidelines to improve cooperation between higher education centers (HE), contine training center and companies. Together, we will build a model easily adaptable to everyone’s needs.
The i-WOBAL project will have a positive and lasting impact on the participants, organisations, associated partners and people involved in the actions and the different target groups. It will stimulate international WBL at all levels, including innovation in education, encouraging cooperation and mutual learning, internationalization, linking and collaboration between centers of higher education, training continues and business.
The project will have a direct impact on the consortium partners, but it will also have an indirect impact on the people and other important stakeholders affected by the multiplier events and other dissemination actions. This strategic partnership will benefit everyone, learners, higher education centres, businesses and society as a whole.
2 Project results
We have now developed a Didactical Guide that will help corporate and academic facilitators provide learners with the best possible training, tailored to the different needs, skills and competencies required by today’s job market.
Within this Guide, we will also launch the online school of facilitators to put it into practice. The implementation of this project internationally will allow us to share the different WBL approaches of the participating countries, based on different target groups and to adapt it to the particular needs of each of us.
Coming events:
An information meeting with the apprentices and their company and academic facilitators will be organised at Icam site de Vendée on September.
A final project event will take place at Icam site de Nantes in February 2024.
