In early September, from the 7th to the 9th, the Lille campus welcomed seven students and their lecturer-researcher from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali, in Colombia, for a Short Program devoted to biomedical engineering.
A tailor-made programme built with our lecturer-researchers
Over three days, they explored the campus and followed a course designed specially for them with several lecturer-researchers: practical work on biomedical problems, a tour of our technical platforms, a session at the FabLab and 3D printing… A hands-on immersion in Icam’s environment and teaching approaches.
At the end of the programme, students and staff came together over refreshments to share their experiences and continue the conversation in a more informal setting.
A format that opens up new opportunities
This Short Program is part of an already well-established partnership between Icam and the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, two institutions belonging to the Jesuit network.
This first experience also illustrates another dimension of international life at Icam: bringing our partners and their students onto our campuses to share our expertise, our facilities and our teaching approaches. A format that opens up new opportunities for exchange and collaboration with our international partners.
