Guests on BSmart 4Change as part of the SMART IMPACT CSR debate on 4 May 2026, Élodie Binois, co-pilot of the CEC Monde académique Convention (Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat — the French Business Climate Convention), and Gilles Vandecaveye, Chief Executive Officer of Icam, joined journalist Nathalie Croisé for a discussion on the CEC Monde académique Convention.

Élodie Binois explained what this collective initiative represents, the reasons behind its launch, and its ambitions: to support the deep transformation of higher education and the evolution of training programmes, by providing educational leaders with a strategic space to enrich and challenge their roadmap, while fostering cross-organisational cooperation to collectively address the challenges of the ecological transition.

Gilles Vandecaveye’s testimony brought this commitment to life with a clear conviction: a systemic approach is needed — one that builds alliances, engages students, encourages cooperation between institutions, and rethinks both initial and continuing education. This is the path that Icam has chosen to fully embrace by joining the CEC Monde académique Convention.
