Indicative of a coming trend where engineers need be trained “in their country and for their country” while maintaining a global outlook, the Central Africa Catholic University tapped Icam during the development of an engineering program. Armed with a mission to form African engineers for Africa’s local development, the initiative led to the creation of a site in Pointe Noire (Congo Brazzaville) and a site in Douala (Cameroon). The best suiting program is the three year blended-co-op program after a two year first cycle in Pointe Noire.
